What is Bushwhacker fishing about?
Customer Safety
Safety is our number one priority. It is well known that Lake Erie can become dangerous on the turn of a dime. Gale winds and waves exceeding 10+ feet. Our Captains have the right to cancel trips due to inclement weather and/or unsafe conditions. You will have the chance to receive a full refund or reschedule with us at a later date.
Providing a Hands on Experience
We want you to get involved! Learn from us as we teach you how to run a full program. You can expect to deploy rods, monitor electronics and most importantly get the fish to the boat.
Putting Fish in the Cooler
Your Captain and First-Mate will work to there highest abilities to get your group fish.
- Walleye - 6 Per customer
- Steelhead - 3 Per customer
- Perch - 30 Per customer
Where we launch
We trailer our vessel which means we can launch at different ports. Our two main ports are -
- Walnut Creek Marina: 241 Manchester Rd, Fairview, Pa
- Lampe Marina: Ft. Of, Port Access Rd, Erie, Pa
-Your captain will discuss meeting locations before the morning of your trip.
First Mate
Our first mates will play a huge role in your success. Mates will teach you everything you need to know (putting rods out, gear explanation, make your group comfortable, help clean fish etc).
What to bring
- PA Fishing License (ask us about specific licensing)
- Food and Drinks (Small Cooler)
- Sunglasses, Sun Screen, Rain Gear etc.
- Cooler for your catch
- Soft Soles or Sandals
Do not bring
- Hard liquor or glass bottles
- No boots
- Fishing equipment (we supply everything)
- No bananas allowed onboard
